Advertisers have several options for sending files to Carolina Country
magazine.
Carolina Country's FTP Site
The Carolina Country ftp site is located at: ftp://ccftp@ftp.ncemcs.com All advertisers must be assigned a user name and password before using the site. Contact advertising manager Jennifer Hoey to request access to the site. Here are a few tips when using our ftp site:
- If using a Mac, use Netscape Communicator and use a version lower then 6.
- If using a Mac, stuff the files before uploading
- If using a PC, zip your files before uploading
- If using a PC, you should be able to use either Internet Explorer or Netscape without error.

Other FTP Sites
Feel free to use www.yousendit.com to send your files if you find it more convenient. You can send up to a 100 MB file for free. The site requires a "send-to" e-mail address for notification. Please use Advertising Manager Jennifer Hoey's e-mail: jennifer.hoey@carolinacountry.com
You can also send your files by e-mail. You will probably want to either stuff or zip the files before sending.
We use digital files ONLY. No film accepted. If sending by mail, use a CD-Rom or DVD. State applications used, and include printout of contents. Preferred software is QuarkXpress, InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
