Round Soda Bread
From the kitchen of Cleo R. Smith, Burlington
3 cups flour
2 tsp. (heaping) baking powder
1 cup raisins
1/8 tsp. salt (pinch)
1 egg
1/2 cup buttermilk
Mix above ingredients well. Put in a greased,
floured round pan (a cake pan may be used). Shake some flour on
top. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Turn oven down to 350 degrees
for 20 minutes more.
