Plain Pound Cake

1 lb. real butter
3 cups sugar
6 large fresh eggs
4 cups Swans Down Cake Flour
2/3 cups milk
Mix butter and sugar by hand. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one. Add flour and milk (alternately). Mix by hand. Grease and flour a large tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour and 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before removing.
