Mama's Sweet Potato Pie

From the kitchen of Amanda Greene of Fayetteville. She is a member of South River EMC.

4 sweet potatoes, cooked
1 stick butter
1 egg
2 Tbs.milk
1 1/3 cup sugar
1 Tbs. flour
2 Tbs. cinnamon
1 Tbs. allspice
1/2 Tbs. ground cloves
1 tsp.vanilla

Mix hot sweet potatoes with butter until melted. Add sugar, egg, milk, vanilla and mix well. Add spices and flour. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until sides of pie brown and pull away slightly from crust.

Yield: 8 servings
