An early lunch

When I was in the seventh grade, I had a science teacher who all the students enjoyed playing pranks on. I was a good student, but for some reason on this particular day, I decided to pull a little prank on our teacher.

I had forgotten to eat breakfast on this day, and couldn’t wait to get to lunch and eat. So, I figured out a way to enjoy my lunch a little earlier. I decided to set the clock back 15 minutes earlier than our lunchtime. As a distraction, my friend asked the teacher to step out in the hall because she had to tell him something. I grabbed a chair, reached up to the clock, and quickly moved the minute hand on the clock back 15 minutes.

When our teacher came back in the room, we informed him that it was time to go to lunch. He just couldn’t believe that time had passed by so quickly!

I am now a teacher; so needless to say, I only look at the watch on my arm.
