Lottery, crime, insurance and trash
The people of
North Carolina would vote on whether or not we have a lottery.
Right now, the burden is on landowners who pay more and more
property taxes. If the state can sell liquor, it can sell lottery
tickets.
Punishment for drug use and breaking and
entering would be much more severe. Pawnshops would have to require
proof of ownership before accepting an item.
I would bring down
the cost of auto insurance, and have severe punishment for fraudulent
insurance claims.
Cities and towns could not annex more property
without written consent of every resident affected.
Beside each
trash dumpster site, the state would have a building to hold
unwanted items that are still of value. These items would be free
to anyone who wants them. After a month, if no one wants it, it
is thrown into the dumpster.
