Lessons You Learned the Hard Way

Learning to say “I love you”

I am 18 years old. Four years ago I lost my brother and cousin in the same tragic car accident. I can remember the last time I spoke with my brother the morning of his death. I remember mostly that I didn’t tell him I loved him when I said goodbye. Little did I know that it would be the last time I would ever get the chance to tell him how much I loved him.

Since the death of my brother and cousin I have learned that you can never say I love you too much. Never think that you will always have tomorrow to show someone how much you care, because tomorrow may never come and then it would be left unsaid. So be sure your loved ones know how much you really love them, whether it is just a simple hug or kiss before you say goodbye.
