Put Jesus first All the presents were under the Christmas tree and we were looking forward to hearing the children hollering that Santa had come. Instead we awoke to the sound of our 7-year-old son singing happy birthday to you. Since it was Christmas morning and none of our birthdays were in December, I asked him why he was singing happy birthday. He replied, “It’s Jesus’ birthday, isn’t it?” I realized that he had put Jesus first, as should we. Linda Linville |
