Not necessarily yours
My 3-year-old nephew Jamie
was visiting me one summer. He found a red ball in the road, picked
it up and started playing with it. After a while we turned to go
home and he said, “I’m
going to put the ball back where I found it.”
“Don’t
you want to play with it?” I said.
“I want to put
it back where I found it because it isn’t
mine.” I thought for his age how mature he is. Jamie made
me realize what you find isn’t necessarily yours.
