Lucky to have Grandma next door
My daughter and I were lucky in having my grandmother as our neighbor or for many years. She taught us many things and was a very special person in our lives. There was nothing she liked more than to spend time with us, especially her great-granddaughter, Caroline. Unable to get out of the house much at all, she loved a visit from her Caroline. The picture enclosed is the two of them making chocolate drop cookies. She had a lot of patience and Caroline loved helping her do just about anything. The cookies they made together were very good. My grandmother passed away in September 2001, but we will never forget the many things she taught us and how special it was to have her next door. We surely did have the finest neighbor. Nancy
