My guardian angel neighbor The best neighbor I have ever had was when I lived in California. She lived right down the street from me and had six children. My mother asked her if I could come over to her house early in the mornings for school because she is in the military and had to be at work early. Since we had already sold our house, I didn’t have any other place to go. My neighbor agreed and every morning at 5 a.m. I entered her home and was greeted by her dog. She gave me my own key and every afternoon I would go to her house and wait patiently for my mother to come and get me. She always used to have some sort of snack waiting for me when I went there, and I essentially became part of her family. She never once asked my mother for money to pay for me staying there. And never complained about having to set an extra place at the dinner table when my mother had to work overtime. She always treated me as a part of her family and welcomed me with open arms, and I thank her for that. She truly was my guardian angel that God sent. Alexis Alexander |
