The CNN Slinky The dumbest souvenir I ever brought home was a slinky from CNN center in Atlanta. In sixth grade I went to North West School of the Arts and was in their choral program. Well, over spring break we went to a chorus competition in Atlanta. I was so excited because I’d never been there, and we were going to a bunch of really cool places. We went to the Coca-Cola museum, Six Flags Amusement Park, Stone Mountain State Park, and the CNN center. My favorite part of going places is going to gift shops. I am your Grade A pack-rat. Everywhere I travel I have to bring something back. I’ve brought home some pretty weird stuff, but my slinky from the CNN center was the worst. I don’t even play with it any more. It’s somewhere in my house. Maybe I’ll find it some day and remind myself that the next time I go somewhere not to bring home a dumb souvenir. Caitlin Meeks
