At the beach with Amanda Summer is my favorite time of the year, mostly because I don’t have to go to school. I do a lot of different things in the summer, but I think last summer stands out above the rest. Last year my family went to the beach like we do every year, but a lot of my family and friends went with us. My cousin, Amanda, who is a sophomore at N.C. State, took a few days off and came to stay with me at our beach house. We had so much fun. We played in the ocean a lot. We went fishing on dad’s boat. I like to spend time with Amanda.
