Baby’s first waves In October 2007 we took our son, John Douglas, to the beach. Since it was around 90 degrees we let him put his feet in the ocean for the first time. He loved watching the waves go back and forth and kicking his feet in the water. At four months old, he was a little anxious, but he was being held by his dad.
