Carolina Beach sunrise In the summer of 2006 my wife and I stayed in an oceanfront inn on Carolina Beach. The rising sun would greet the shrimp boats each morning as the fishermen trolled the coast searching for an early morning catch. We visited the North Carolina Aquarium on this trip.
