  • Christmas cactus will bloom longer in a cool location. Do not let the soil dry out. Provide high light exposure. Prune after blooming by cutting or pinching off the stem tips. You may root these pieces in moist vermiculite to create new plants.
  • Don’t rush to prune tree branches after a winter storm. Sagging or bent branches may rebound satisfactorily. Prune any broken branches immediately.
