Planting and Transplanting

It’s not too late to plant annual flower seeds. Blooming time is especially useful when using plants in color-controlled beds. Bearded irises can be transplanted while in bloom. Consider sowing seeds directly into prepared garden beds. Zinnias, sunflowers, tithonia, cosmos and cleome respond well to this method.
