Lawn Edgings

The edging control of grass around flowerbeds, walk, trees, and even next to fences can be a continuous job, but it need not be. There are several choices. Mechanical edgers are satisfactory. Diesel oil sprayed along edging can be good but has to be reapplied every few weeks. Commercial grass killers available at garden centers are a good control for Bermuda and Johnson grasses. Treatment is fairly long lasting, but sometimes requires two treatments during the growing season. This is satisfactory around trees and shrubs, but always follow package instructions for amounts and how to use them.
