Water ponds
Water ponds are gaining in popularity. A pond should be built in a level, well-drained area. Fish in the pond need shade during the hottest part of the day. One part of the pond should be at least 36 inches deep so fish can get away from summer heat and winter cold. Water plants need lots of sun, away from shady areas.
