Water Versus Insect Control
Poor insect control sometimes is the result of the lime content of water used. If in doubt about the lime content of your water, make this quick check: Add a little emulsifiable liquid insecticide or liquid green soap to water and shake. If the mixture curdles or becomes cloudy, a commercial spreader-sticker or even a liquid detergent will help correct the problem.
