Tropical Ribs

3 or 4 pounds country style ribs
1-16 ounce box dark brown sugar
1-12 ounce can fruit cocktail
1-12 ounce can pineapple
2 oranges (whole)
1 jar cherries

Open and drain all fruit in colander over a bowl to retain juices. Mix juices and brown sugar together, add all fruit except oranges. Boil ribs in salted water for 30 minutes on medium high temperature. Remove ribs from water, place in baking dish. Cover ribs with fruit and brown sugar mixture. Slice oranges horizontally. Place orange slices over ribs, sauce and fruit mixture. Cover with foil and bake in a 350 degree over for one hour.
