Baked Oysters

From www.shrimp.com

24 select oysters
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
6 lemon wedges

1. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Grease a shallow baking pan with butter or margarine.

2. Mix the flour with the salt and pepper. Drain the oysters, dry them and roll in the flour mixture. Then dip them in the egg and roll in the flour again.

3. Arrange the oysters in the baking dish. Pour the butter or maragrine over each oyster. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, or until the oysters are lightly browned, basting twice. Garnish with lemon wedges.
