“Sketches from Pinehurst” The North Carolina Symphony conveys the history and spirit of Pinehurst on this CD. The composition by Terry Mizesko was written to honor the 2005 U.S. Open. Also included on the CD are works by Benjamin Britten, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Jean-Philippe Rameau. Music director Grant Llewellyn conducted all of the works. The CD is $18. In addition to online purchasing, the CD may be purchased from the North Carolina Symphony at the box office and store in Raleigh.
