As Fall approaches,Eastern North Carolina’s largest Agri-tourism facility is gearing up to host thousands to their Fall Festivities,Hubb’s Corn Maze. Saturday, September 14, 2014 is opening day. This year’s maze theme is “Life on the Farm”. The event will run from September 13, 2014 thru November 8, 2014. The Fall Festival Celebration will be open for nine weekends. Each weekend will have a different theme, allowing visitors to come back multiple times throughout the season. Themes will highlight and salute people, processes and events such as agriculture, arts, “Hometown Heroes”, military, health and wellness, and more. Hubb’s Corn Maze’s Fall Festival engages diverse audiences with family friendly, weekend activity. Individuals, groups, and families will enjoy escaping life’s busy routine by coming out and enjoying a beautiful fall, North Carolina day, getting lost in the maze, and various activities, entertainment, and food. Zoom down the 40 foot giant slide and then bounce to the skies on Hubb’s Giant Jumping Pillow. Little ones can enjoy Toddler Town and a portion of the maze set aside just for them. Everyone can enjoy a quiet hay ride or a ride on the Hubb’s Express Train. “We are excited to share the addition of a large sheltered picnic area for our guests this year,” said Tammy Peterson, co-owner of Hubb's Corn Maze, with her husband John Peterson. Other new activities for the 2014 season are, rides on a big ride combine, that every child will recognize,a pumpkin Patch and hot fresh donuts.
