Honey Bun Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
Brown Sugar Mixture
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ chopped pecans
Icing
  • 2 cups confectioner’s sugar
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients for cake well.

  2. Mix brown sugar mixture well.

  3. Pour half of the cake batter in 9-by-13-inch greased and floured pan and top with half the brown sugar mixture.

  4. Pour remaining batter in pan and top with remaining brown sugar mixture. Take a knife and swirl mixture.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until done.

  6. Mix icing ingredients and spread over hot cake.
