Slow Cooker Apple Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 cans (20 ounces each) apple pie filling
  • 6 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • Vanilla ice cream

Directions

  1. Dump apple pie filling into the bottom of your slow cooker.

  2. Spread the cake mix over the apple pie filling and then spoon melted butter over the cake mix — do not mix!

  3. Cook on high for 4 hours.

  4. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

  • I want to try this recipe, but directions are not very clear as to sprinkle DRY cake mix over apples or mix as directed on cake box, then spread WET mix over apples?

  • I am sorry there was confusion on the recipe. You sprinkle the cake mix dry over the top of the apples. It is a very good recipe. Hope you enjoy!

  • I am sorry but the recipe did not include the size of the crocpot that was used. I think mine that I used was a 6 quart but I think a 4 quart would work also.
