Third-generation outdoor guide Jamin Simmons formed Dare to Hyde with his wife, Pam, and all activities are led by knowledgeable natives of Ocracoke and greater Dare and Hyde counties. Located on Ocracoke Island, with the ocean on one side and Pamlico Sound on the other, Dare to Hyde's watersports headquarters is situated to offer lots of water options, including parasailing and lessons for surfing and kitesurfing. Dare to Hyde also offers gear rentals for do-it-yourselfers and (optional) lodging at handsome Berkeley Manor on Okracoke Island.
