Gold Stars
My favorite Halloween costume was three years ago when I was a gold star. My mom made it and even tried to use metallic gold thread, but the thread didn’t work because it got stuck in the sewing machine. My doll, Ann, also got a gold star costume. My sister Elizabeth and her doll, Blue Baby, were silver stars. Our mom even found silver and gold glitter make-up to put on our arms and faces.
