NC Strawberry Smoothie
Farm-fresh strawberries are wonderful in smoothies, adding a pretty pink color and important nutrients such as vitamin C, folate (B9) and potassium. Strawberries also pair well with other fruits, including blueberries, raspberries, peaches, cantaloupes and grapes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt*
- ½ cup fresh strawberries
- ½ banana
- ½ cup apple juice
Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
*Note: Some vanilla yogurts are high in added sugar. If you can’t find a low-sugar vanilla yogurt at your store, sub 1 cup plain yogurt and add in ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract.
