Cookies named after poop?! Oh, deer! At least these chocolaty piles are cute, seasonal and possibly a bit magical. Try our “Reindeer Poop” recipe and see for yourself!
1 cup chocolate chips
2 cups Honey Bunches of Oats cereal
½ cup roasted peanuts or other type of nut if preferred
1 cup white chocolate chips
M&M’s, sprinkles or other candy, optional
Spread cereal in a 9 x 13-inch pan coated with butter or nonstick spray.
Melt chocolate in a double boiler, stirring until melted.
Slowly spread chocolate over cereal. Then sprinkle half of the nuts and M&M’s over mixture.
Refrigerate pan for ½ hour or until chocolate has set.
Melt the white chocolate in the double boiler, stirring until melted.
Spread the white chocolate over the cooled cereal/chocolate mixture and sprinkle with any remaining ingredients.
Put back in refrigerator until firm and then cut into pieces and enjoy.
