Grandma’s Sugar Cookies

I tried this recipe and there was either too much butter or not enough flour or BOTH. they ran together once the heat of the oven hit them and were so thin you could not scrape them out of the pan. Did anyone else try this?

I am so sorry you are having problems with this recipe. I tried them and yes they are thin but that is the way old fashioned sugar cookies were. Also you have to leave enough space between them to allow for them to expand. I have made them about three times already and they are delicious. I had a long rectangle baking sheet which I used a small cookie scoop and only put about 12 scoops to a pan. I hope this helps.

I am looking for a thin sugar cookie recipe, which this looks like it will work. However do this cookies come out soft or crunchy?
