Since 1967, North Carolina’s electric cooperatives have sponsored rising high school seniors on a week-long excursion in June to the nation’s capital. The students and advisors visit historic sites, meet their congressional representatives, learn about cooperatives and make lasting friendships. To learn more, visit

The Youth Tour visits the Vietnam War Memorial in 1989 and 2010.
