Pilot Mountain

For many years I have visited Pilot Mountain in the fall and always went to the summit and viewed it from Highway 52. This past fall, I went around the base of the mountain and was pleasantly surprised at what I found. It was like a lost paradise. I count this area as one of the most beautiful in North Carolina, especially in the fall.
