Cabinet holds memories and hard work

This cabinet belonged to my Mama. As long as I can remember, it and another one just like it sat alongside a Hoosier cabinet in our kitchen in Gastonia. After she died in 1975, children and grandchildren were given various pieces of furniture. This cabinet has passed through several homes over the years. It even once served as a display cupboard for a business in Chapel Hill! Then one day, my daughter in Charlotte called and asked me if I wanted it. I was thrilled to have it. My husband, Wayne, grows a fine garden and I try to can as much as possible. I just know Mama would be happy to know her cabinet now holds all that our hard work has produced.
