December 2018
This Month’s Issue:
This time of year, airings of 1940s classics like “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “Miracle on 34th Street” are plentiful. We’re revisiting a 1940s miracle of our own in this issue — the “Miracle of Hickory,” where a community banded together to fight back against a frightening polio epidemic. You’ll also find nods to the season throughout the issue, including holiday events and recipes. Happy holidays from all of us at Carolina Country and North Carolina’s Electric Cooperatives!
