Hunter Wilkes and Miriam Esquibel

Congratulations to Pee Dee Electric’s new Drone Pilots Hunters Wilkes and Miriam Esquibel. Both are now commercially licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as Small Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Pilots.

Now that Pee Dee Electric’s Engineering Technician, Hunter Wilkes, is officially licensed, he looks forward to assisting the co-op with inspecting hard-to-reach areas with an infrared camera. “I’m eager and ready to serve as an additional resource for the cooperative,” stated Hunter.

Pee Dee Electric’s Operations Dispatcher, Miriam Esquibel, saw the opportunity as a way to learn more about our system and its elements. “As a dispatcher, I hope to keep learning more beyond my dispatch map,” stated Miriam.
