Tenth- and Eleventh-graders: Apply for the 2025 Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.

This weeklong experience offers a unique exploration of the cooperative business model, U.S. history and government functions. Up to two exceptional candidates will represent our co-op, joining students from electric cooperatives across the state. Participants also have the chance to win scholarships, including the prestigious Youth Leadership Council (YLC) Scholarship. Don't miss the Jan. 10, 2025 deadline. Pee Dee Electric is accepting applications for the Awareness Committee Scholarship Program. Eligibility includes residency in a Pee Dee Electric-served household, a recommendation letter, a cumulative "B" average throughout grades 9-12, and attendance at a two-year or four-year accredited college or university. Applications are available at your school, Pee Dee Electric, or pdemc.com/community/youth-programs. Apply by March 28, 2025.
