Students from Mr. Gore and Ms. Tyler’s classes at Guideway Elementary were excited to learn about their teachers’ Bright Ideas grants from Brunswick Electric.

Congratulations to BEMC’s 2017 Bright Ideas grant recipients! This year, a total of $33,204 was distributed to 26 teachers for special projects in Brunswick and Columbus county schools.

Since 1994, the Bright Ideas program has given almost $11 million to teachers across the state for special projects that may not have been funded otherwise.
