Our industry is always changing, as are the ways we can communicate with you. Whether you want to know how to lower your energy bill, ways to participate in solar energy, information about Capital Credits, what energy efficiency practices are the best, or anything else that’s on your mind, our goal is to have the answers you need, when you need them.

We have some advantages when it comes to providing information that you may not be aware of. BEMC is the second largest cooperative in the state, and to serve this growing membership base to the best of our ability, we’ve had to be leaders in innovation. This meant taking our place as energy experts, and we’ve led the way in so many aspects from laying underground lines, to load control and our Prepay power program. We are proud to be held in high regard by cooperatives around the state and across the country. 

Brunswick Electric has worked hard to earn our reputation, and we’ve done it so we can provide safe, reliable power at the lowest possible cost, and be a trusted resource for you. Since our first members banded together and brought electricity to the rural parts of our counties, we’ve always said what we mean, and mean what we say. At the co-op, we want to make available to you everything you need to know to use energy wisely and safely, but also knowledge about how and why we do what we do on your behalf. That’s why, whether in the pages of this newsletter, on social media or our website, in bill inserts, or in special publications available at our offices, we do our best to describe complex energy issues in terms everyone can understand. It’s also why we answer your phone calls personally every business day. And it’s why we take the time to listen and help you find solutions when you come to us with a challenge.

Our promise to you is that the way we share information with you is only going to get better. We respond quickly to you on social media, and we know that many members prefer to get answers to questions that way. We’re working to incorporate new ways to communicate with our membership where and when it’s most convenient for you. It’s said that knowledge is power, and we work hard to share our knowledge and experience with you for your benefit.
