“Nellie” Jelly

Famous to the grands and neighbors alike for her “Nellie” jelly, my 94-year-old mother looks forward to beating the deer to her sweet white scuppernong grapes. Here she checks to see if it is ‘harvest time’ on the farm in Fayetteville where she has lived since 1962.
