January 2 marked an incredible milestone for Halifax EMC’s Vivian Arrington as she celebrated her 50-year work anniversary! Vivian began her career at Halifax EMC in 1974 as a Cashier-Receptionist. She was promoted to Secretary and later accepted the position of Work Order Clerk—a post she has held now for over 30 years.

Through the years, Vivian has not only been an integral part of our organization but has also played a pivotal role in shaping the positive culture and success of Halifax EMC. She is quick to offer a kind word and often a bit of encouragement to her coworkers. Her dedication has left a mark on the hearts of her co-op family, and her work ethic has undoubtedly made a lasting impact.

The co-op honored Vivian with an employee luncheon following a recent monthly safety meeting. Co-workers expressed their admiration and everyone enjoyed a slideshow of memories featuring Vivian from throughout the years.
