It’s Dark and We’re Wearing Sunglasses

A few years ago, my husband, Benny, and I went to “Legends in Concert” in Myrtle Beach. It’s always great.

We saw that the Blues Brothers were on the list of musical talent. “The Blues Brothers” movie was always a favorite of ours. I told my husband, “Let’s go to the dance the senior center in Siler City for Halloween and dress like the Blues Brothers.

So we started looking for the proper clothes – black suit with narrow black tie, hat and sunglasses. (Narrow black ties were not easy to find.)

I went as Jake (he’s the chunky one), and Benny was the slim one, Elwood. Now if you see us, we have reversed in size. We had lots of fun that night!
