The fair will celebrate 80 seasons of family fun with live music, midway rides for all ages, a thrill circus, petting farm, animal barns, strolling performers, antique farm and train displays, community exhibits, vendors and favorite fair food.

Entertainment highlights include Vintage Cross (6:30pm Tuesday); Ember Fire Arts (Tuesday – Wednesday); Gospel Music Program (4:30-9pm Thursday); Donivan Carter (7pm Friday); Fair Pageants (2pm, 6pm Saturday); and Fletcher White (6:30pm Saturday).

Fair admission: $8 at the gate, $6.99 online before Sept. 29, free for kids under 36″ tall. Parking is free. Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36″ & taller) are $25 on site and $23.25 online pre-sale. On Tuesday Car Load Night, admission and unlimited rides are $75 per vehicle (up to 6 seat-belted occupants).

Fair hours are 4-11pm Tuesday – Friday and 11am-11pm Saturday. The fair is sponsored by American Legion Post 40 and run by the nonprofit Chowan County Regional Fair Association.
