Christmas in Aurora is a 3 day event which kicks off on Friday, December 13, 2024 with the lighting of the Christmas tree Water Tower followed with a stroll down through town past music, a live nativity, Santa with hot chocolate and cookies at the Venue, smores, music in the park, hay ride and readings at the library. On Saturday, December 14, 2024 the ‘Holliday’ craft fair will have local crafters presenting their goods for sale, food vendors, Photo op with Santa in the Fossil Museum Park, and children creating Christmas orniments with Santa’s elves at the museum Education Center. On Sunday, December 15, 2024 will commence with the contination of the Holliday Craft Fair, the annual Fire Department fund raising BBQ that sells out each year because it is ‘just that good’, and the Christmas Parade with bands, floats and music, and an appearance of Santa.
