Magnalia Farmstead’s Annual Harvest Festival is a celebration of community, and the goodness of God in the glories of Autumn. It marks the traditional festivals of the season — including the Harvests of Fall, Reformation Day, and All Souls Day.

We’ll have activities for young and old alike:
• hayrides with a cup of apple cider
• animal exhibits, including feeding opportunities with sheep, goats, chickens, cows, a donkey, turkey, ducks and more!
• game field for small goal soccer, sack races, wheelbarrow races, tug-of-war and other fun
• pickleball competition
• displays of seasonal harvests, including a pumpkin patch and pumpkin painting for the kids
• guided pony rides for children
• community garden and bee hive tours
• bounce house castles
• blacksmithing demonstrations
• wool/yarn knitting demonstration
• seasonal treats at Walden Cabin and Camp Paradiso
• first-ever archery competition by age
• farmer-themed photo booth
• magic shows
• riding mechanical bull
• face painting
• pasture footrace by age
• hay bale toss by age
• re-enactors, including Martin Luther

Food and beverage options will include a complimentary seasonal soup and cider samples at The Crown & Pepper Garden Shoppe. You can also purchase great food from The Reformation Feast Meat Tent or the Waffle Truck. Sweet treats can be ordered from The Local Farmers’ Autumn Dessert Tent, or from the ICPinky Ice Cream Truck. Suggested donations for tickets are $5/person, $10/couple or $20/family to help offset some of the third party costs for the event. All net proceeds from ticket, food and beverage purchases will go to support the ministries of Magnalia, including our programming for the special needs and veterans community and those who come here for soul care and respite.
