The NC BBQ Hall of Fame and the North Carolina Pork Council are bringing the excitement of traditional North Carolina barbecue to downtown Graham with the Whole Hog Cook-Off.
Pitmasters from across the state will fire up their cookers on Friday evening and tend their whole hogs throughout the night, competing for barbecue glory and the opportunity to earn induction into the prestigious NC BBQ Hall of Fame.
On Saturday, come hungry and experience authentic North Carolina barbecue at its finest. Fresh whole-hog BBQ plates will be served straight from the pit, featuring chopped whole-hog pork and the rich, smoky flavor that only traditional slow-cooked Carolina barbecue can deliver.
Whether you’re a lifelong barbecue enthusiast or simply looking for a great family-friendly event, the Whole Hog Cook-Off offers a unique opportunity to celebrate North Carolina’s rich barbecue heritage while enjoying some of the best pit-cooked pork in the state.
Beyond the barbecue, visitors can enjoy entertainment featuring local vendors, live music, and the excitement of competition as North Carolina’s top pitmasters showcase their craft.
