Pee Dee Electric Celebrates Bright Ideas Grant Winners at Luncheon

Each grant recipient discussed their project plans, shedding light on the innovative initiatives they intend to implement in their classrooms. The event featured guest speaker Chris Nault, manager of Public Relations for North Carolina Electric Cooperatives, who shared insights into the inception and lasting impact of the Bright Ideas program.

Special guests in attendance included guest speaker Nault, Townley Venters, North Carolina Electric Cooperatives’ director of Communications; Howard McLean, superintendent of Anson County Schools; Dr. Joe Ferrell, superintendent of Richmond County Schools; Pee Dee Electric’s Board of Directors Marcia Lambeth, Winnie Bennett, Richard Melton and Board President Richard Johnson. Pee Dee Electric’s Bright Ideas Luncheon emphasizes our ongoing commitment to supporting education and fostering creativity one student at a time.
