Guidelines to apply:

• Students must reside in the home of a Union Power Cooperative member.
• Must be a senior of the current graduating class.
• Must plan to attend a four-year institution or community college in North Carolina.
• Judging is based on the following criteria: 40% need, 30% academic achievement, and 30% extracurricular activities in school, civic, and community functions.

All applications are judged and winners selected by an independent committee not affiliated with the Cooperative.
