Four County EMC

2025 Initiatives and Key Focus Areas

safe and reliable

Safety

Safety remains our top priority. Supporting our commitment to ensure consistent, safe and professional line work, we have invested in training, continued education and the construction of a training facility. In addition to investing in our employees’ knowledge and skills, our overall safety program includes advanced electrical system monitoring technologies and public outreach to provide electrical system safety education.  We encourage active participation in safety and by working together and staying vigilant, we can create a safer environment for all.

Reliability and Resiliency

Our reliability factor remains above 99%, thanks to proactive maintenance and upgrades like replacing aging infrastructure, installing animal guards and rebuilding transmission lines.

By leveraging diverse energy sources—ranging from nuclear power to battery storage—and collaborating with grid partners, we ensure a resilient system. Energy efficiency programs, such as Beat the Peak and Connect to Save, empower members to reduce energy demand, lower costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
