Founder and Executive Director, Beverly Stanley
We asked Founder and Executive Director Beverly Stanley to tell us more: “It seems I’ve always cared about the well-being of others, which I attribute to my strong faith. My husband is a disabled veteran, and the mental health and other services he was receiving were delivered without a lot of compassion.
“It is our belief that all people are precious gifts and should be treated as such.”
It felt like we were just a number, that they didn’t really care about solving issues and resolving crisis; it was mostly paperwork and bureaucracy, and how was that going to help? At the same time, I was volunteering at an agency that provided some of these services, and was approached by someone who thought I should start my own.
In 2007, we started with a focus on mental health and developmental disabilities and added other services for families and adolescents. The majority of our clients are referrals from medical practitioners. In 2010, we added HIV/AIDS case management and other Ryan White services. We are a part of the federal 340B Program, through which we can help people living with HIV/AIDS, diabetes and other conditions, who can’t afford their medications, get what they need. We don’t treat alcohol or substance abuse disorders, but for those challenges and just about any other, we have an extensive network of partners who can help. Yes, it’s a business, but it’s also a calling, and we go above and beyond for anyone asking for help.
It’s so gratifying to watch people grow and learn how to thrive. Many of those who have been through our programs stay in touch, sharing the joy of births, graduations, and other life events. Their successes inspire us, letting us know we’re making a difference.

So many have overcome adversity, juvenile delinquency, and have jobs now that they are proud of; they stop me and say “Ms. Beverly, do you remember me, look at me now!” Some take a little longer; one woman called us first thing every business morning for more than 10 years, just for connection, which we couldn’t charge for, but an event eventually happened that turned her around and she is doing quite well. We were her bridge until it happened. We’re just helping people live their best lives in the best capacity that we can.”
Beverly is also an associate minister at Big Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Supply, an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and the Founder of Kingdom Impact Deliverance Ministries, Incorporated.
